A first on the market - Emew is proud to produce a picnic mat with some cushioning. The Emew picnic beds feature a 2.5cm thick foam inner that has been covered in a water-resistant inner making sure your Emew lasts a lifetime.

The cover:

Our Emew beds have been designed to be as low maintenance as possible. The Emew cover is easy to remove due to its diagonal opening and is machine washable. Cold washes are recommended. Do not use bleach.

The cover is made of 100% cotton which might shrink when tumble dried. We recommend air dry only.

Did you know? The color and pattern of your Emew have been carefully selected to cleverly conceal muddy paw prints and slobber marks!

The inner:

Your Emew features a water-resistant inner lining that can be effortlessly wiped clean with a mild detergent and a damp cloth, if needed. On a sunny day, you can also let it bask in the sun for a few hours to soak up some Vitamin D!

Why don't the picnic beds have a waterproof bottom on the cover you might ask? Emew believes in doing its part in reducing waste and microplastics of course! Water resistant materials aren’t made to be washed frequently leaving you with either a stinky picnic blanket after a few uses OR a blanket with a plastic bottom that has chipped within the first year.

But luckily Emew has got you covered. The Emew picnic beds feature a 100% cotton cover that can be washed as frequently as needed with the added benefit of having a water-resistant inner that keeps the foam inner protected. Yay!

Buying an Emew means buying luxury for life. Emew prioritises sustainability by not only producing a superior quality product, but also offers after-sale care if you might ever need it. We offer a 3-year Fix-It policy if there have been any manufacturing defects (given the product hasn't been mistreated). We also offer restuffing/ foam replacement assistance if you ever need it.  All you need to do is reach out to us at woof@emew.co.za
